Following the talent contest, Esther, whose last name is Jun, has shown a steady effort to become a professional vocalist, after she first verified her ability during her showcase onstage during the music competetion.
A representative of Jubilee Music Korea said of the singer, "Esther has shown polished performances as a CCM (Christian Contemporary Music) vocalist, and established her own color of voice. And now, she's challenging herself to be a singer-songwriter, learning the guitar and composing melodies with her own lyrics."
She sang her own song, "What The Lord Said," for the first time during Jubilee Korea's first monthly concert in September this year, touching the hearts of the audience. The song will be the title track on the new single album, which is also Esther's first.
The Jubilee House Band is currently recording backing tracks for the song on the album, with the album slated for release later in October.
