On Friday, Jubilee Nashville held its 'Day After Thanksgiving Praise & Worship' night at Jubilee Church experiencing the abundant grace of God newly through songs of praise, worship, scripture readings and testimonies. Worshipers were strengthened and reinvigorated by the heartfelt worship and praise, which directed their hearts to meditate with gratitude on the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ and His work in us through the Holy Spirit.
While most people had had their fill of food and fellowship the day before on Thanksgiving Day, there was still plenty of room left to fill spiritually, reflecting on God's presence and work in our lives.
The gathering was led by seasoned worship leader Danielle Adams, who during her college years studied piano and vocals as well as music business. She is currently working on a new worship project and has her own church, but very much considers Jubilee Nashville her family as well.
During an intermission, Adams shared a message from Psalm chapter 100, about how if we enter God's court with thanksgiving, our thoughts and circumstances can really change. For example if we have something we are thankful for today, such as God's faithfulness and sincerely declare, "God I am thankful for your faithfulness," we immediately enter into intimate worship with Him.
The praise songs were generally unknown to worshipers who were in attendance, but surprisingly they could quickly follow along and pour out their hearts to the Lord and remember what He has done and be assured that He has a plan for each one of us and will use the gifts He has gifted each person with.
The next worship night will be a Christmas themed gathering held Dec. 15 again together with Jubilee Church featuring praise, gift exchange and other activities centering upon the birth of our Savior. The 'Christmas Jubilee Night' will be open to the public free of charge and Jubilee Nashville hopes that many will come to know why Jesus Christ is the greatest gift we could ever receive.
