First rehearsal of The Jubilee Chorus held successfully

Sep 06, 2013

On September 3, The Jubilee Chorus started regular weekly rehearsals by holding its first official practice at Shelter Studios and Theater.

15 members of The Jubilee Chorus started the rehearsal with the prayer followed by meet and greet time during which they shared how they came to learn about the ministry and what lead them to become part of it.

One of the members expressed, "I was looking for a ministry through which I can praise God. I am very happy to join this group. I am convinced God led me this great chorus."

Meet and greet time was followed by vocal warm up which led to singing of a popular selection of classical songs such as “Holy, Holy Holy,” “Total Praise,” and “Requiem.”

Mihee Gwon, The Jubilee Chorus manager shared, "This work is amazing. I feel that God was with us and lead us. Every singer has strong passion and faith. The group was put together in a very short time for which I am very grateful.”

She added, “The conductor Dr. Elizabeth is working very hard and actively and she’s very passionate about The Jubilee Chorus. I think God gave us good coworkers and singers."

The Jubilee Chorus has more openings for bass singers. Bass singers who are interested to join The Jubilee Chorus can send their applications to info@jubileechorus.com.
