Gisang Yu, who sang the two songs "Serving" and "Donkey," was declared the winner of the competition. When the winner was announced, Yu shed tears and confessed how he had grown throughout the competition and wished to give the glory to God.
Originally, Yu entered the competition with a composer who is a deacon at his church. They both applied together and sang a duet, but upon entering the final round, Yu started to compete by himself.
The biggest Christian music audition in Korea, Openmike Season 2 started four months earlier, in December. Close to 300 people originally applied, among which 45 was picked and entered the final round following two preliminary rounds. Contestants were then eliminated down to 15, eight and, lastly, four finalist.
The winner and finalists will perform on a studio recording and tour later in the year.

Jubilee World appoints new choir director, Dr. Philip Woodmore. Philip received his BS/BA in Business Marketing and Music Vocal Performance from Saint Louis University in 2005 and Masters in Music Education from Webster University in 2010.
Jubilee World will host the 21st Anniversary of Jubilee and celebrate the overflowing grace that God has poured down during the past 21 years. The conference theme is "Worship Together with One Voice" and it will be held from July 9th to July 11th, 2023.
