Jubilee Chorus SF kicks off the new season

Jubilee Chorus SF's second season began yesterday with our first rehearsal after the summer break. This season we are working towards a mid-December Christmas concert.

Four new singers came to have a short interview with the conductor. Several singers who participated the first concert will join the later rehearsals. And two more accompanists can help rehearsals in future.

During the interview, the singers talked about their music background and a passion for the choral singing.
With an opening prayer, the season is underway. Eight pieces for the kick off rehearsal are all very enjoyable and pretty. Furthermore, the conductor taught the chorus a Hebrew piece.

During the rehearsal, singers sing the birth of the Saviour with heart and soul and voice, they made wonderful harmonies and rejoicing melodies. Everyone enjoy the music very much. Praise the Lord!

It's going to be a great season and we will perform a vast repertoire of Christmas choral music and a Hebrew sacred music piece.

In this season, Jubilee Chorus SF has a great two-fold vision: To celebrate our Savior's birth and let many people know the true meaning of Christmas; To provide high quality choral music to local audiences and to give interested singers an opportunity to perform in a choral organization.

We pray that God will prepare more new singers to join the coming concert and give us a successful season.

The remaining rehearsals are 8 Mondays 7:30-9pm, September 29 - Novermber 24, 2014.

The dates are:
September 29th;
October 6th, 13th, and 20th;
November 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th.

The rehearsal location is:
Basement rehearsal room, Girls Chorus, 44 Page Street, San Francisco.
